It's the annual Sunset Strip Music Festival, an event so in character with its historic surroundings that it belongs here as much as long hair and a black shirt on a rock star.

LA's Sunset Strip is known for music its legendary live music venues like the Roxy, Viper Room and Whisky A Go-Go, but in one lively weekend in August it is the Strip itself that brings in the bands. The 2012 event is Aug. 18 and features Marilyn Manson as the street headliner. Other bands playing that day includes The Offspring and Bad Religion.

It also has a beer garden flowing with Bud, Bud Light and Shock Top. True to its Hollywood surroundings, the beer garden has its plush amenities, including cushy chairs and couches. It's one of the most popular hangouts at the entire event. After all, what's rock sounds without suds?

Everyone was smiling, singing, dancing and having a great time. Perhaps they were inspired by their time in the Bud Light beer garden.
